Nice Champions League Draw for Arsenal:Giroud returns home.

Arsenal were today drawn in a relatively straightforward group B: Montpellier, Olympiakos and Schalke.

Schalke could prove tricky but is it expected we qualify. It promises to be an emotional return for Giroud who was recently signed from Montpellier. We sincerely hope they mistake him as one of their players and give him sexy Skrtel backpasses.

As usual United got a very easy group tailor made for the ugly shrek Rooney and Judas Van Persie to score bazillion goals. There is no point mentioning the clubs like Cluj and Braga.

On behalf of the entire Arsenal fans all over the world, we commisserate with City who got Real,Dortmund and Ajax in the group of Death

In Arsene We Trust?

Tick…Tock…

Hours before the end of the transfer window.

The F5 key on my keyboard is almost worn out with refreshing to see who we have signed. Nobody.

I look over to rivals to see what they are up to:

I see Chelsea preening with satisfaction after a very successful transfer window. With Marin, Hazard, Oscar, Azpilicueta, Victor Moses and a rejuvenated Fenando Torres, you have to be an egg-head to go wrong. Yes, they have witnessed a mass exodus but unlike us, they have bought well. With 9 points already in the bag, you have a feeling it’s either they march on to glory this season or Matteo(who is an egg-head) is gonna fuck things up real bad.

I see Liverpool, the ever ‘maga’ Liverpool recruit Joe Allen, Borini and splurge extravagantly on Sahin for just a year’s loan. I’m not bothered though, it’s gonna take at least a full season for the players to embrace Rodger’s philosophy.

I see United, Jeez! I hate that club-the new home of Judas Van Persie. Why you wonder did they have to do that? Yes I know, just to piss us off. To make things worse, the wanker scored quite a beauty on his home debut. I hope he crashes, burns and takes Wayne Rooney with him.

In short I am tired of talking about other teams, this is supposed to be an Arsenal blog.

Wenger excited me to no end at the begininng of the window signing the rugged Podolski, the devilishy handsome Giroud and creative Cazorla. At that point I was like Holy Fuck, we’re gonna anally rape a lot of teams this season.
Just when I was getting vaseline for those teams, Wenger sold Judas Van Traitor Persie, the stupid Rigobert Song’s nephew and his ugly haircuts, Vela (earlier) with Bendtner, Chamakh, Arshavin, Park all poised to leave.
Still I wasn’t’t bothered; Wenger had to have a masterplan. I believed. I championed the cause that Wenger had disbanded the failed ‘Project Youth’, the boys he belived in that betrayed him and couldn’t win a trophy.

Despite having just 2 points in 2 matches, I believed. A revolution was taking place. Wenger had a card up his sleeve. A calvary of super-players would soon arrive that would make rival teams quake in their boots. However, my belief is thawing. 48 hours to the end of the transfer window with Walcott stalling on contract talks, see what Baba Wenger is saying:

“We have enough [players], that is for sure, but you always want to improve your squad and if we find a top, top, top player we will do it,” he said.

“We are working very, very hard. We have resources available so if it is not happening now it will happen in December.

"We are active but we do not just want to bring average players in. If we find a special player who can find us a plus we will do it, if not we will not do it”

If that does not honestly scare you. Nothing else will.

My conclusion is that Wenger is planning something stupendously awesome or something extremely stupid.

Time will Tell.
